All three local Rotary clubs — Lake Havasu Rotary Club, London Bridge Rotary Club, and Lake Havasu Sunrise Rotary Club — gathered at a luncheon to meet the traveling group and learn about the Taiwanese culture.

Jeanie Morgan, former district governor and current member of local London Bridge Rotary, said the GSE program is part of the overall Rotary Foundation and is an international, humanitarian, educational and charitable arm of Rotary. Primarily, GSE participants travel to another country, where they experience a different culture, and teach about their native country for up to five weeks.

The five travelers are from Taipei, Taiwan. They arrived in Havasu Sunday and are set to depart today. Before traveling to Havasu, the group stopped in Phoenix, Wickenburg, Prescott, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Bullhead City, Oatman and Kingman in Arizona, and toured the Las Vegas Strip, Morgan said.
